Five Seconds of Fame!

I have so much respect for people who do interviews. Yesterday at our annual Jenstones trunk show at Texture in Norfolk, a local news crew came in from Channel 13 to cover Small Business Saturday. I jumped at the chance to be on camera, I was looking cute and had my new dragon necklace on. When they strapped on a microphone my heart started beating really fast. I tried to breathe and my mind went blank, all the news reporter asked was what I thought about Small Business Saturday and I got all flustered. I started to hear myself say, umm, and like, and all the things that aren't too cute in an interview. They told me not to worry, they would edit it, but it was so weird to be so excited and yet nervous at the same time. I watched TV today with a whole new perspective, how do people stay so cool and collected in front of a camera? It's a an admirable skill I definitely need to cultivate.  Thank you Channel 13 for my five seconds of fame!!!

Here is a link to the story and interview. My part is the last bit so be patient if you check it out....
